Book Sale and High School Open House - April 12, 2018

Book and Curriculum Sale!
On Thursday, April 12th there will be a book and curriculum sale during the Sure Foundation Homeschool Tutorial school day. From 9am until 2pm, buy and sell curriculum and resources yard sale style. For more information contact Karen at karstevens@yahoo.com

High School Open House!
On Thursday, April 19th, Sure Foundation Homeschool Tutorial will hold an Open House for all high school level classes. If you will have a high school student in the coming school year, stop by between 8am and 12:30pm to observe our classes, meet teachers and co-op families, and find out how Sure Foundation can help you homeschool through high school. Registration for high school classes is open for new and returning families, and there are openings in all high school level classes.

(Middle school level classes are full at this time.)

Spotlight on High School Writing and Literature

Writing Non-Fiction (High School) -  Power in Your Hands Creative Writing (High School)  - Writing Fiction (in High School) Literature (High School) -  Illuminating Literature: When Worlds Collide Sure Foundation is offering three English classes for high school students in the 2022-2023 school year. Need more information to decide which one is right? Here's our spotlight on these classes and what to expect: Writing Non-fiction (High School) This is a full year, one credit course for high school students. The class time is 1-1/2 hours each week, and students will have homework and writing assignments to do at home. The course includes twenty major writing assignments of varying lengths: opinion essays, persuasive essays, a position paper, newspaper writing, biography, compare and contrast, narration essays, and more. Students will learn about specific forms of nonfiction writing, develop competence and confidence in writing, learn organization skills for notes and writing...

Thursday, May 5th is Senior Day - we will recognize our graduating seniors! Also on Thursday, May 5th - Used Curriculum Sale Tables will be set up in the basement for sellers, and there will be a giveaway table. Contact us if you'd like to have a space to sell.
