Registration for 2020-2021 Classes

Registration is now open for returning families. Registration for new families will open on March 12th at our Open House. 




Join us on Thursday, March 12th to find out more about Sure Foundation and the classes we'll offer for the 2020-2021 school year. Meet tutors and member families, take a tour, and look in on our classes in session.

Middle School Art (Grade 6-8) - Students will study art from around the world, and will work with many mediums to produce art inspired by those cultures.

Home Economics (Grades 6-12) - (First semester) Beginning home preservation, sewing, baking, and more
Intro to Public Speaking (Middle-High School) - (First semester) Learn and practice public speaking skills, overcome fear of audiences, memorize and perform different types of speeches
7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, plus Study Skills (Middle-High School) - (Second semester) - The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens Personal Workbook

Spotlight on High School Writing and Literature

Writing Non-Fiction (High School) -  Power in Your Hands Creative Writing (High School)  - Writing Fiction (in High School) Literature (High School) -  Illuminating Literature: When Worlds Collide Sure Foundation is offering three English classes for high school students in the 2022-2023 school year. Need more information to decide which one is right? Here's our spotlight on these classes and what to expect: Writing Non-fiction (High School) This is a full year, one credit course for high school students. The class time is 1-1/2 hours each week, and students will have homework and writing assignments to do at home. The course includes twenty major writing assignments of varying lengths: opinion essays, persuasive essays, a position paper, newspaper writing, biography, compare and contrast, narration essays, and more. Students will learn about specific forms of nonfiction writing, develop competence and confidence in writing, learn organization skills for notes and writing...
