Cancellation for December 14th Classes (Update)

Thursday, December 14th - 8am classes are CANCELLED. 

Update: All later classes will take place as scheduled.

When Carroll County schools are on two-hour delay due to a weather event, Sure Foundation will automatically cancel 8am classes. Classes with later start times may still take place, depending on conditions. Updates will be posted here and on our Facebook page, and we will send an email to all families. Please check your email before you leave!

Winter Weather

Winter Weather Thursday, January 20th may be a late start or snow day, as we expect winter weather! We will NOT follow Carroll County Public Schools, so please watch your email for an update by 8am. If we have a late start, we will follow the modified schedule sent out by email earlier today. January 20th is the start of second semester at Sure Foundation. Spotlight on High School Writing and Literature

Writing Non-Fiction (High School) -  Power in Your Hands Creative Writing (High School)  - Writing Fiction (in High School) Literature (High School) -  Illuminating Literature: When Worlds Collide Sure Foundation is offering three English classes for high school students in the 2022-2023 school year. Need more information to decide which one is right? Here's our spotlight on these classes and what to expect: Writing Non-fiction (High School) This is a full year, one credit course for high school students. The class time is 1-1/2 hours each week, and students will have homework and writing assignments to do at home. The course includes twenty major writing assignments of varying lengths: opinion essays, persuasive essays, a position paper, newspaper writing, biography, compare and contrast, narration essays, and more. Students will learn about specific forms of nonfiction writing, develop competence and confidence in writing, learn organization skills for notes and writing, develop
